1.A connecting hyperlink of an O-ring Chain for common application is pre-coated with grease at the pins. Prior to connection, verify the grease within the surfaces of pins, and if the quantity of grease is modest, apply grease with bare hands. (If gloves are utilised, the grease will likely be absorbed through the gloves.)
Instance: When the connecting website link (I) of an O-ring chain for basic application is
shipped, O-rings are fitted in the roots with the pins. In case the O-rings come loose as a result of vibration through transport, refit the O-rings in to your roots on the pins.
In this instance, make sure you return the grease collected at the roots on the pins to the central surfaces from the pins, far more at portion A than at portions B shown while in the above illustration. (Portions A is worn due to sliding together with the bushings.)

3. Connecting process
one.Confirm that O-rings are connected to your roots in the pins.
2.If the level of grease utilized over the connecting pins is smaller, coat the pins with grease with the central portions.
three.Insert the connecting pins in to the bushings on the inner links at each ends.
4.Verify the grease is utilized on the entire face in the O-ring, and fit the O-ring onto the connecting pins.
five.Insert the connecting pins to the connecting plate and while pressing the connecting plate, set up the spring clip. Verify whether the head (the end with no split) of your spring clip is turned while in the feeding path of your chain. (See the following illustration.)
6.You should definitely verify the spring clip is securely fitted while in the clip grooves on the connecting pins.
This completes jointing of the connecting hyperlink. Note that grease over the surfaces of connecting pins and 
O-rings is often removed during installation do the job. In this case, re-grease utilizing the grease on the surface in the base chain or even the grease during the polyethylene bag by which the connecting link was contained.
